is it friday yet?

blah. it’s been one of those weeks. post labor-day bluesy - and now i’ve got a day full of super tedious tasks ahead of me at the office (that i have done exceptionally well at avoiding thus far - one of my special talents in life) - submitting way overdue expense reports, for example. boo. i hate expense reports.

anyway… i need something inspiring and creative to help jumpstart this gloomy morning - so here are some lovely illustrations from leanne shapton. they are getting me jazzed for when i am finally unpacked and settled in here and can set up some space in my guest bedroom/office for some painting/drawing/sewing projects. projects that don’t revolve around shoes in any way shape or form. (or expense reports, for that matter.) have i mentioned my fall goal is to reacquaint myself with watercolors?! fun, right?
